Preparing ahead can take the chill out of our winter days, but w ithout the help of their owners pets left out in the cold can suffer serious effects. So far this w inter we have warm er than average conditions, but if the tem perature begins to drop, you need to know how to keep your pet safe. Dogs th at typically spend lots of tim e outdoors are safer indoors during colder weather. Short-haired animals can suffer from frost bite if left in cold temperatures.
