21 Public board accepting junior, senior kindergarten registrations The Halton District School Board is accepting registrations for junior and senior kindergarten for September 2017. Parents can drop by or call their designated elementary school to find out which dates have been established for kindergarten registration. Parents are asked to register their children by Feb. 3. Bring the following original documents when registering: · Proof of address (any two of the following current documents): lease or deed, car registra tion, property tax bill, utility bill, residential tele phone bill, moving bill, bank statement, credit card statement, correspondence with a govern ment agency · Proof of age: birth certificate, passport or baptismal/faith document for your child · Proof of citizenship: birth certificate or pass port or Record of Landing (IMM 1000) or Per manent Resident card · Proof of immunization, or philosophical or religious exemption forms (completed medical authorization where necessary) If you are not the child' s parent, or if you have sole custody, bring proof of custody such as a court order. To register for fall 2017, junior kindergarten children must be four years old by Dec. 31, 2017; senior kindergarten children must be five years old by Dec. 31, 2017.
