S1 -s C Q ) C7 O h* 00 N O -- J The Oakville Hospital Foundation (OHF) is calling on the community to go above and beyond to support a $T5-million equipment plea for Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH). Donations made before March 31 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $500,000. Since the opening of the new OTMH in December 2015, patient volumes have increased dramatically "The growth we are experiencing today was anticipated, but it's arrived sooner than expected," Denise Hardenne, Halton Healthcare president and CEO, stated in a media release. "We are fortunate to have staff, physicians and volunteers with the skills, dedication and passion for going above and beyond and in rising to the challenge of meeting our community' s health care needs." In November 2016, Halton Healthcare received new funding from the provincial government to respond to accelerated growth in patient volumes.
