"I was very proud to be able to go and honour my m om ' s friend' s death there," said Karabela. During the two-hour presentation, students asked the trustees various questions as they w ent through their slideshow. One student asked w hy Adolf Hitler thought the way he did. Quinn explained Hitler had aspirations of a dominant race. Educators, police and government officials were among those on the trip, whose focus was to educate to ensure policies, such as that which led to the Holocaust, do not happen again.
