Friday, November 10, 2000 THE OAKVILLE BEAVER The anticipation of the Christmas season is everywhere. I have been manufacturing jewellery for several months and looking over endless selections of new items to fill our showcases. 1 am confident that I have the largest and most com plete selection of jewellery we have ever had to offer to you. My father has spent the last few years preparing me for doing this without him but I always thought he'd be a phone call away. I long to hear "you did a great job of buying this year" or "why did you buy that?" or even "if that doesn't sell, you're buying it!" Since my father passed away there is much that is missing for my family and 1 this year, but we will be here to carry on the business that he has spent the past 20 years build ing.
