- This series of photographs was taken during P. L. Robertson's trip to Scotland in August and September 1918. They are pasted into an album with the following inscription "To Stimulate The memory of My glorious Visit to Scotland In August & September Nineteen Eighteen."
- Inscriptions
- Above the photograph is written "14 Camouflaged U.S. Transports in Background". Underneath the photograph is written "- On Whiting Bay Road -". Underneath that is written "P.L.R. - Hilda, Evelyn, Wm., Capt. Ballantyne & Bella". There is also a small copy of this picture pasted into the album underneath which is written "Holy Isle, and U.S. troopships behind".
