Kaitlyn Wheeler put the Hornets ahead 2-0 with a short-hand ed marker. Bianca Mirabelli picked up the lone assist. Bruins are back on track The #7 nationally ranked Sheridan Bruins kicked off the millennium with a win and a loss as league play resumed in the Ontario College Athletic Association (OCAA) central division. The Bruins travelled to #8 Humber last Wednesday and the Humber Hawks avenged an earlier defeat with an 82-62 win. Sheridan showed the effects of the holiday break with 27 turnovers. Humber led 38-28 at the half, but the Bruins cut it to six early in the second half. However, Sheridan got extremely sloppy with four straight turnovers -- three on in-bound passes -- and the Hawks cruised to victory. "We had no performances," said Bruins coach tyick Davis. "We had a couple of players show ... Bennett and well, Bennett." Chris Bennett had 18 points and 11 rebounds. Shane Bascoe scored 19 along with 4 steals.
