"Avery is one of the friendliest kids I've ever met," said Leung. The cooking program is one of ErinoakKids more popular programs. The participants get to eat what they cook and Little Chefs, which helps to build social skills, also helps children learn life skills, kitchen safety and helps build fine motor skills, Leung says. "Avery is a lovely individual," adds Leung. "She tries to lend a hand wherever she can." In addition to Little Chefs, ErinoakKids also offers recreation programs with: adaptive equipment, such as bicycles; programs like swimming, skating and bocce; cheerleading and magic programs; TRY IT, a program that lets participants try a variety of recreation activities and leisure education sessions; and Active Start, a guided activity-based play program. Leung has also worked with Avery' s older brother Sebastian, 13, during a program called Brothers and Sisters Day, an interactive full-day program where brothers and sisters of young people with special needs can learn and share experiences. "They absolutely love each other," Leung added. Limited Time Offer FURNACE CLEANING BOOK YOURS TODAY! www.
