All three hospital laboratories demonstrated outstanding performance and each expects to be granted the highest possible status - a full four-year accreditation certificate. Accreditation is a mandatory, comprehensive review which helps ensure standardization of laboratory services across the province. This assessment confirmed that Halton Healthcare laboratories have an excellent Laboratory Quality Management System in place which has been consistently sustained and improved upon since the last on-site assessment in 2013.
