- This series of photographs was taken during P. L. Robertson's trip to Scotland in August and September 1918. They are pasted into an album with the following inscription: "To Stimulate The memory of My glorious Visit to Scotland In August & September Nineteen Eighteen." There is also a small copy of this picture pasted into the album.
- Inscriptions
- Underneath the picture is written "Georgina Brand, Bella, P.L.R., Wm., Mary, Capt. Ballantyne, Nancy, and Evelyn at Clachlan's Point Picnic - Augu. 29, 1918". Underneath the small picture is written "And many bonnie lasses".
