A total of 38 local schools from Halton are reg istered in this year' s fair: 21 schools from the Halton District School Board, nine schools from the Halton Catholic District School Board, and eight independent schools. There is a total of 288 stu dents registered, which constitutes 53.3 per cent of the total participants at the fair. Of these, 37 students are from high schools and 251 students are from Grades 7 and 8.
