Then in 2015, Metrolinx outlined plans for electrification of GO Transit routes on the Lakeshore Road West corridor. A feasibility study was done earlier in 2 0 1 7 to review options for grade separating the Burloak Drive road-rail crossing. Both Burlington and Oakville staff reviewed the study and provided comment. Based on this study, and input from municipalities, a six-lane underpass for Burloak Drive is being proposed. Oakville' s position is Burloak Drive should be widened to six lanes, from the existing four, while Burlington maintains the lanes should remain at four. A summary of the comments will be posted at www.metrolinx.com/ burloak.
