The website can securely take anonymous tips from people and allows for two-way com munication without revealing the identity of individuals providing information on unsolved crimes to Crime Stoppers of Halton. "W ithout the generous support from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Crime Stoppers of Halton would not have been able to acquire the infrastructure to upgrade and enhance the website to this state-of-the-art point," said Doug Maybee, chair of Crime Stoppers of Halton, in a media release. "W e are making use of m odern technology and the grant from O T F has allowed us to move light-years from where w e were when the pro gram first began in 1 9 8 8 ."
