Exhibit o f Oakville a t war extended The Oakville Museum at Erchless Estate is pleased to announce that the exhibit, Shadows of War: Not So Long Ago in the Twentieth Century, will be extended until Sept. 2002. This popular exhibit illustrated Oakville's par ticipation in the two world wars of the twentieth century, with an emphasis on WWII. Shadows of War contains the photographs of many Oakville veterans, a community which had a significant number of its young people fighting for our freedom. Since the exhibit opened last year. Curator of Collections Deborah Hudson, has continued to gather photographs and information from veterans and their families. Many of these images appear as part of the exhibit in the Record Books.
