Members of Oakville Town Council, MP's for Oakville and Burlington and members of Shaarei-Beth El synagogue heard words of consolation from Oakville Mayor Rob Burton. Mike Mostyn, CEO of B'nai Brith Canada, explained how this commemoration was hap pening in towns all across Canada. Cantor Cheryl Wunch of S haarei-B eth El congregation offered memorial prayers and music to accompany Rabbi Stephen Wise as a list of names of victim s were read aloud.
