Now, the couple' s son, Jacob W ise, will be called to the Torah as a Bar Mitzvah on Ju n e 17, as he turns 13, proudly supported by his sisters Talia and Alexa. "I am very proud of him," says W ise, adding this year marks the biggest group of children (1 1 ) called to the Torah in the congregation' s history Cheryl has since joined the staff of SBE. She became the school' s education director seven years ago. W ise and his family celebrated his 10 th anniversary of leading the SBE congregation on Saturday, M ay 6, with an event featuring the Noam Katz band.
