Rotary raises $7,000 The Rotary Club of Oakville West (RCOW) held a golf tour nament at the Deerfield Golf Club in September to raise funds for two Oakville charities. This first annual event raised $7,000. The main recipi ents were the Oakville Trafal gar Memorial Hospital and the Oakville Symp hony Orchestra. The 58 golfers, playing on a near perfect day, gen erously con tributed to the fund raising over and above their entry fee by entering addition al competitions set up on several of the holes.
