Additionally, an opportunity exists to implement a second wastewater forcemain (WWFM) to provide redundancy and compliance with Halton Region's latest design standards. The map shows the approximate limits of the Study area. Accordingly, Halton Region initiated a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Study (Class EA) which considered a wide range of WWPS and WWFM upgrade alternatives in order to select the most appropriate station design concept and forcemain alignment. The impact of the upgrade alternatives on social, cultural, economic and natural environments are being evaluated and assessed during the Study.
