Sunday bmnch benefits Hatton Trauma Centre On Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Hamptons Restaurant located in the Quality Inn and Suites Hotel on Bronte Road, will be hosting a Christmas themed Sunday Bmnch to benefit the Halton Trauma Centre. Special guest Santa Claus will be on hand to meet the kids and hand out candy canes. Children under 5 years old eat for free and children 6 to 12 eat for only $5. Adults will be charged $13.99. Three dollars from each adult meal goes towards the Halton Trauma Centre. "I am familiar with the good work the Trauma Centre does, and I know they need financial help," said Owner Mike Paralovos. " All money we raise will go directly to services for children and their families." The Centre (formerly the Halton Centre for Childhood Sexual Abuse) provides ther apy to individuals and families, where child maltreatment and/or neglect have occurred. Maltreatment is defined as a physical, emotional, or sexual abuse and neglect; or a failure to provide for the child's basic needs. As the lead agency in Halton region to address child sexual abuse since 1983, they have a wealth of experience with these issues and the skills to provide effective therapeutic interventions. By broadening their mandate to include the spectrum of child maltreatment and neglect, they can now offer their clinical services to a broader population in Halton who would benefit from having access to the agency. __ __ ' A "iL C ou ran t "bu LEOA Canadian Made S aving s on Four Floors of Furniture In -S to ck & R e a d y to D e liv e r ... · Sofas · Loveseats · Chairs · Cocktail & End Tables · Rediners · Entertainment Centres · Bedroom Suites · Dining Suites · Grandfather Clocks · Curio Cabinets and more!
