The calendar is currently on sale at The Bay, Oakville Place and Fantasy Fruit Markets. The calendars are $10 each with all proceeds going to the Ian Anderson House, Dog Guides Canada, a skin bank at Sunnybrook Hospital and Easter Seals. Shriners Christm as m agic Show a t M)SS D ec. 5th The Shriners are bringing their Christmas Fantasy Magic Show - Illusions 2001 to White Oaks Secondary School on Tuesday Dec. 5th. The show is a fundraiser for the Shriners philanthropic activ ities which includes support bum units in hospitals and helping crippled children. This show, here for one night only starting at 7 p.m., features internationally known Canadian magician Murray Hatfield, who has headlined at Universal Studios in Hollywood, appeared in Stars of Illusion at the Calgary Stampede, and has become known as a most amazing and talented magician. Also appearing are Goldfinger & Dove. Mixing contempo rary music with choreography and stunning costumes, Goldfinger & Dove have vowed audiences in Las Vegas and Monte Carlo, and have appeared on the Dinah Shore Show, Merv Griffen Show, Don Kirshner's Rock Concert and the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Comedian Marty Putz is also on the bill. Putz is one of Canada's top entertainers and has also appeared on the Tonight show, and on the Super Dave Show, Make Me Laugh, America's Funniest People, Magic Johnson Show, and the Jerry Lewis Telethon. And, from Caesar's Place in Los Vegas to Germany, Italy, Mexico, Aruba, France and Spain comes magician John Shryock and his assistant Mari Lynn, who have thrilled audi ences around the world. Jingle Bell Fund kickoff Friday The Oakville Jingle Bell Fund, in support of the Oakville Salvation Army, kicks off next Friday, Dec. 1st, at Chaps Dorval, from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. The public is invited to enjoy coffee and bagels, listen to seasonal favourites played by the Salvation Army Band, and to purchase gingerbread house and poinsettia packages for a $100 donation.
