M embers of the public enjoyed seasonal favourites played by the Salvation Army Band, and were invited topurchase gingerbread house and poinsettia packages for a $100 donation. The Jingle Bell Fund raises money to purchase toys and gift certificates for children and teens up to age 16. Toy drives are underway at O akville's fire halls and Starbucks' locations. Toy donations call also be brought to the Oakville Salvation Army, 1225 Rebecca St., or to arrange for pick-up, call 827-5324 or 827-6523. Last year, the Jingle Bell Fund provided toys and gift certificates for between 900 and 1,000 children and teens.
