This is the second consecutive year Oakville has been nam ed Ontario's best place to raise children. The rankings exam ined 4 f 7 towns and cities across C anada -- double the num ber of contenders included in last year's rankings. It ranked m unicipalities on num erous factors -- including crime rate, arts and community, affordability, taxes and weather. A m ong Ontario m unicipalities, Oakville w as nam ed the fourth best place to live overall. Burlington and Halton H ills were also included in the top fO. "Council is proud to see Oakville's livability once again being recognized in these national ran kings," said Mayor Rob Burton, in a m edia release. "I also congratulate our neighbouring com m unities in Halton for their sim ilarly stellar rankings across the board."
