Pearson, an Oakville resident, is a comedy writer who has written for This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Corner Nightmare on Kerr Street runs from Thursday, July 13, to Sunday, July 16, 8 p.m. at Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre' s Black Box Theatre, 2302 Bridge Rd., with an extra SCARY show at 11p.m. on Saturday, July 15. The 90-minute show stars: Pear son, Christine Pillman, Will Camp bell, Paul Muhleisen, Iryna Mc Coubrey and Luisa Muhleisen. The show is scored by Jefferey Rosen thal. Carousel of Nations' summer festival in Oakville July 22 The Carousel of Nations Multicultural Association (CNMA) presents the 19th annual Summer Cultural Festival Saturday, July 22, at Queen Elizabeth Park Cultural and Community Centre. The festival will feature groups from more than 30 countries -- showcasing their unique cultures. The festival is a free family event and contributes to the social cohesion of the Halton community. It begins at noon with performances taking place until 5 p.m. Since 1999, the festival has been a successful collaboration among the local ethno-cultural groups, professional and amateur multicultural artists, Halton Regional Police Services, local businesses, government and corporate sponsors. The CNMA exists to celebrate the cultural diversity of Oakville, for the educational and entertainment benefit of the community.
