Jim fo u g h t courageously, b ut lost his short battle w ith Cancer at the age of 63, at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital w ith fam ily at his side. He is survived by his loving w ife o f 37 years, Linda, and his stepchildren Stacy (Anne), Debbie (M a tt) and Lori. He w ill be so dearly missed by his beloved grandchildren Briana, Rhyan, Rhys, Tyler and Natasha. Also, he w ill be sadly missed by his sisters Debbie (K eith) and Suzanne (Brian), and is predeceased by his brother Larry (Sue). He w ill be fon dly remembered by all his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and colleagues. Jim was born in Toronto, b u t as a young lad moved to Oakville becoming a long-tim e resident, and th a t is w here he met Linda. Together they b u ilt a w on de rful life to g e th e r w ith the kids and grandkids, and one o f his greatest joys was spending tim e w ith his grandchildren, and watching as many o f th e ir activities and sports as he could. Jim also loved to spend tim e g olfing, or w ith Linda w atching the Blue Jays or Leaf games on TV. He also played a mean game o f Scrabble on the back deck! His devotedness also extended to his w o rk life, as he was a valued employee o f Parmalat Canada fo r over 30 years. He was so dedicated to everything he did both in his w o rk and w ith his family, he was admired and loved by all w ho had the pleasure o f know ing him.
