While some of the children danced with Snow White and Frosty the Snowman, oth ers crafted deco rations and Christmas cards with numerous individual vol unteers from local businesses and the comm u nity. Alvin and the Chipmunks highlighted the stage, which was transformed into Santa's Castle. The Chipmunks were followed by the jolly old elf himself, Santa and Mrs. Claus. Sassie the Clown shared giggles and laughter with the crowd, while painting snowflakes and reindeer on rosy cheeks. The magical wonderland came to life with a co-operative effort of 12 committee m em bers and gener ous donations of time and willing efforts to make a difference in the lives of others.
