The Santa Run dished out over 6,000 gifts to 18 agencies including the Halton Women's Place crisis shelter. The Second Annual Santa Run collected $12,000 worth o f toys -- twice as many as the year before -- and required four five-ton trucks to haul them away from the Knights of Columbus Hall in Oakville. The toys were donated by the employees and customers of Coast Paper. Assistance was also provided by volunteers from the Junior League.
