* Wednesday, Novenber 24, 1999 THE OAKVILLE BEAVER Volunteers needed for Century 21 Food Drive As Christmas draws near each year, the sales associ ates and staff of Century 21 Miller Real Estate Ltd. aids The Salvation Army by gathering and coordinating hundreds of high school stu dents and scouts for their annual Christmas Food Drive. Volunteers go door to door across much of Oakville in an effort to col lect the necessary food pro visions for the upcoming year for the shelves of the Salvation Army's food bank. In addition, Century 21 Miller staff and Salvation Army Officers will be situ ated at many of Oakville's major grocery stores for col lection at the store on the day of the drive. The Salvation Army is looking for donations of canned goods, dry foods, baby foods, diapers, paper products, and personal hygiene items. To participate in the drive, look for the Salvation Army collection bag in today's Oakville Beaver. Simply fill the bag with your donation and on Saturday, Nov. 27th, place the filled bag on your front porch for pick up by Drive Volunteers. Bags may also be dropped off to The Salvation Army's Citadel located at 1225 Rebecca Street or at Century 21 Miller Real Estate, located at 467 Speers Road. This year's drive will take place between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. and once again volun teers are needed.
