Early Thursday morning (July 20) seven businesses were broken into across town in the span of approximately two hours. In each case, som eone smashed the front glass window or door of the business and then stole cash or any obvious valuables inside the premises. On Saturday (July 22), Peel police arrested an individual in Brampton after a traffic com plaint. During this arrest police recovered a Hyun [ dai Santa Fe, which was stolen from a Burling ton residence on July 19. A further investigation led to the man being charged w ith the Oakville business break-ins. Aaron Steven Lee, 30, of Acton faces eight counts of breaking and entering, seven counts of wearing a disguise with intent, theft of a motor vehicle and one count of driving while disqualified.
