I was actually worried they were going to break into my car." Sawicki didn't see a weapon noting the men had their hands in their pockets. She never heard a gunshot only realizing something was wrong when a police officer car rying a rifle ran past her window. Police said they now believe the incident was targeted. One suspect fled on foot and was arrested by police a short distance away. Stefan Day, who was working his shift at a nearby Davis Road business that morning, said he had no idea what was happening when he heard police sirens coming from across the nearby train tracks. Not long after an unknown man entered the business' rear yard. "We were outside in the inspection bay and he came in right behind us," said Day. "An other employee asked `Whose that guy with the dreads?' I said I didn't know. I went to my office and the next thing I heard was somebody yell ing `There' s a guy with a gun. Get out.' Day initially walked in the direction of the yelling, but was blocked by a stream of co workers running the other way who warned him to turn around. The group congregated outside the front of the business as police arrived. Adam Lopes, who also works at the business, said the suspect had trapped himself by running into the rear lot, which has no other exit and is surrounded by a high fence topped with barbed wire. He said a female Halton police officer cor nered the individual in that rear lot and arrested him. "The cops pulled up and we just kind of di rected where they were. W hen I walked around there I saw the guy, the cop has him down and the other four or five cops that rolled in just swarm to the back," said Day. "Five cruisers came then SWAT then the ca nines." Halton police would not confirm where or how the individual was arrested. Marley Dorphelus, 21, of Montreal, Quebec has been charged with attempted murder. Two suspects remained at large as of press deadlines Aug. 8. The first suspect was described as black, 6-foot, 200 pounds with a slim build. He wore dark, long pants and a dark shirt. The second suspect was described as black, five-foot-nine to five-foot-ten with tight corn- rows. He may have been wearing white shorts. Both men were last seen on foot. Police recovered a black pickup truck at Lakeside Park in Mississauga, which they be lieve to be connected to the shooting. Around 1 p.m. on Aug. 4, officers with the Halton Police Forensic Unit could be seen working under a blue tent erected in the middle of Cornwall Road. A Halton police drone could also be seen hovering over the area at that time.
