YMCA summer camp staff organizes the ride at Peter Gilgan Family YMCA, 410 Rebecca St. They hope to raise $18,000. The ride begins at 6:30 p.m. Teams of 10 will compete in a high-spirited, relay-type stationary cycling challenge. Each team is challenged to collect at least $1,000 in pledges ($100 per team member). This year's theme is Rock of Ages. Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraising teams and teams with the best camp spirit. A cash barbecue will also be available with proceeds go ing to YMCA Strong Kids. Members of the community are invited to ride by joining a team, creating a team, sponsoring a participant, or donating at ymcaofoakville.org/ strongkids to help the YMCA reach its goal. There will also be a free family movie night starting at sundown. Families are invited to watch Disney's Moana.
