If you answered yes to any of these questions, an Oakville woman has written a new book you may want to read. Nancy Rupcic wrote Stay Sin gle and Be Happy based on her own personal journey from ado lescence to adulthood -- getting married and then divorced and ultimately finding the key to hap piness. Rupcic was born in Toronto, Canada and moved to Oakville when she was seven years old. Although she grew up in a great family, including two broth ers, Rupcic says she felt like she never really fit in. She never went to prom or ob sessed about boys, like the other girls in her school. She got married when she was 27. Looking back, Rupcic says she got married out of guilt. As she reached her 30s, Rupcic says she realized marriage wasn't what she really wanted and got a divorce. "I love to write," she says, adding that she's been writing lyrics, do ing journal writing for quite some time. Stay Single and Be Happy took about a year and a half to write. Rupcic will be at Paradiso Res taurant in Oakville on Sept. 21 at 7 p.m. for a wine tasting and book signing. She says people can come and chat about their dating experiences and her new book.
