Thirty-five extra officers will be patrolling the QEW and Highways 403, 401 and 410 from Monday through Thursday. The OPP helicopter will be providing air support during this effort to maintain highway safety in the regions. According to the OPP, the above highways are critical com muter routes and links for Toronto's industrial and business core. The main focus of the blitz will be the "anti-social behaviour of drivers that put the lives of oth ers at risk by unsafe lane changes, speeding and other moving viola tions."
