He sang a song done by Adele. During the show, his parents real ized their son had talent that need ed to be developed. Jacob began vocal training with Canadian soprano Kinga Mitrowska, and by 2012, he found himself in final casting for Les M iserables, heading to the finals at the CNE Rising Star Competition, and per forming on stage. "I loved it and the audience re ally liked m e," said Jacob. The following year, Jacob began recording music videos by GrapeSEED, a company specializing in teaching children English through singing, music and dance. This was Jacob's first big break. "The songs were recorded in Hollywood and music videos were produced in Japan in April and August, 2014," added Jacob. "This experience was amazing. I learned a lot, had tons of fun and met wonderful people." Now 13, Jacob has compiled an impressive list of acting and voice over credits. He performed at the canoniza tion of Pope John XXIII and Pope John Paul II (2014). Jacob also captured first place in both the Broadway/Musical Theatre Category of the Ameri can Protege International Vocal Competition in 2015 and the Art of Musical Theatre competition at the Great Composers Competition in 2016. Jacob also attended the Pre miere Program in July 2016 and won the title of Top Performer in his age group. "After the Premiere Program, I landed two small roles on TV," he said. "Just recently I caught anoth er break by getting a reoccurring voice-over role in animation." "My dream is to be part of a television show on Disney one day," said Jacob. He plans to attend a perform ing arts high school and continue with the singing, acting and danc ing lessons -- as well as going to auditions. "This is what I love," Jacob add ed.
