The Bronte Village Stakeholders requires donations of gently-used, clean winter outerwear for its fourth annual coat drive. All sizes of the winter garments are welcome. Those who are able to donate are asked to bring their donation(s) to the parking lot of St. Dominic Church located at Rebecca and Jones streets on Saturday, Sept. 9 or Saturday, 16 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Donations can also be dropped off at the front lobby of the Bronte Fire Station located at Bronte Road and Rebecca Street. Donations will be accepted at the fire hall from now through to Oct. 13. The coats will be provided to those in need at a community-wide event to be held on Oct. 14.
