Halton Regional Police says a man allegedly exposed himself to an adult female while inside the Piggy Mart convenience store at 2290 Lakeshore Rd. W. in the west end of Oakville Aug. 23. Oakville Det.-Sgt. Paul Foley said a 52-year-old man turned himself in to police following assistance from the public through police's Caught On Tape program. Foley said they are not releasing the man's name at present as an investigation continues. Camera equipment worth $2,500 stolen Halton police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect allegedly responsible for stealing $2,500 worth of camera equipment from an Oakville Best Buy store. On Aug. 26 at around 6:30 p.m., a man walked into the Best Buy, located at 2500 Winston Park Dr., and went directly to the high-end camera section. Police allege the individual stole multiple camera lenses before leaving the store. They also believe the same suspect is responsible for similar thefts from multiple Best Buy locations across the GTA.
