W ith each performance, there will be a nightly 50/50 draw with proceeds going to ward Ian Anderson House, Ontario's hrst in resident cancer hospice. Ian Anderson House offers quality endof-life palliative care, without charge, by trained medical professionals for people, for whatever reason, who cannot be given the necessary round-the-clock care in their own homes. The house is designed to create a homelike and safe environment where residents re ceive care. To offer the medical care and the number of staff that is expected and neces sary in a hospice environment, Ian Anderson House must raise an additional $ 9 0 0 ,0 0 0 a year for annual operating costs. The concert will be held in the lobby of the Oakville Centre for the Perform ing Arts at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Featuring musicians from the Oakville Symphony, the half-hour pro gram is designed to educate and enter- tain children between the ages of four and 11. Masterworks is a community music group dedicated to performing the great works of the choral classical tradition.
