To promote the new initiative, a four-week awareness campaign o f radio and television ads in English and in French began airing Monday throughout O ntario with Crime Stoppers' 1-800-222 TIPS num ber prominently featured. The ads also send a strong message that domestic violence will not be tol erated. "Crime Stoppers works to help solve all types o f crim e," said Association of Ontario Crime Stoppers President Ed Lemont.
