The Emerald Ash Borer is a highly destructive, non-native beetle species w hich is causing ash trees to die throughout our com m unity; EAB will im pact all ash trees and cause m ost of them to die w ithin three years of being infected. Ash trees are found on C onservation Halton ow ned/m anaged property alongside all three of our urban channel system s and so they are being rem oved to proactively m anage any risk they m ight pose as dead trees close to our neighbours.
