On Nov. 10, Fare Share Food Banksaw the delivery of groceries and cash collected by Todd Wirtz and his Oakville Flaunted Flouse effort. It collected 7,500 pounds of food and $ 6 ,3 50.00, which were raised over the month of October as the Flaunted Flouse display was up and running for the entire month. As well as special evenings put on for prearranged visits by school classes the finale was the evening of Halloween. Hundreds of children came by with their parents and were greeted by Wirtz who was serving hotdogs and hamburgers. Next year will be the 25th anniversary of the Haunted House on Solingate and Wirtz is planning a monster costume party gala in support of Oakville's Fare Share Food Bank.
