Bonenfant, a Grade 12 student at Chisholm Academy, then downloaded the software and spent countless hours programming songs on a simulation software. A control unit and short-range FM transmitter had to be imported from the United States in order to make his summertime simulation come to life. Then were the countless trips to Canadian Tire and Home Depot buying extension cords and Christmas lights. All lights were installed by him except for the second storey gutter lights with which he had a little help from Dad. In all, Alex has 16 channels with more than 2 ,5 0 0 Christmas lights synchronized to 10 songs creating an uplifting seasonal display for all to enjoy. He is very proud to announce that in one week, he raised more than $60 0 for Kerry' s Place Autism Services. He is hoping to raise over $1,0 0 0 before the festive season is over. Those who stop by the display on Leacock Avenue in Oakville can tune their car radios to 92.3 FM to enjoy the show and are asked to please consider donating to this worthy cause. -- submitted by The Bonenfant Family Teen lighting up the holidays for Kerry's Place L Oakville's Alex Benenfant, a Grade 12 student at Chisholm Academy, has turned his love of Christmas and technology into a fundraiser for Kerry's Place, which offers services for those living with autism. | Bonenfant Family photo Are you an em ployee w ho frequently travels for business outside of Canada?
