Thanks to our community for rallying together once again to help families and individuals in need in Oakville. `Christmas Wonders and Beyond' is a program that allows the families we serve genuinely be able to celebrate the joy of the season with gifts under the tree and a holiday meal. It also helps them through our many programs during the year. To date, we have raised more than $320,000, and we are so close to reaching our $350,000 goal. "Because of Christmas Wonders, they can forget their financial worries for a few days, and get to celebrate." Said Gary O'Neill, Executive Director at Kerr Street Mission. There is still time for donations, and, with the end of year taxable contribution limit quickly approaching, this is a great way to help someone in need celebrate a season of hope and joy.
