The Museum needs pho­ tographs of soldiers in uniform, nurs­ es, and medics performing their duties or any other Oakville residents involved in specific wartime activi­ ties. The photographs will be used in the upcoming Museum exhibit -- Shadows of War: Not So Long Ago in the 20th Century -- set to open on Nov. 4th, 1999. The exhibit will pri­ marily focus on the two World Wars. Donors do not need to part with the original photographs -- the .docu­ ments will be scanned into the com­ puter while the donor waits and only the reproductions will be used in the display. The donors will also be asked to provide stories or details for the photographs, including the name of the subject, approximate date of the photo, and other information such as rank or regiment.
