A former Manager of Annual Campaigns and Strategic Initiatives at Food Banks Canada, Gra­ ham Hill has been hired to lead the largest food distri­ bution network in Halton. He'll assume his new post on February 5. "We are elated to wel­ come Graham to Food for Life," said Catherine Pote- chin Food for Life's Board Chair. "We are confident that Graham's expertise in the charitable food sector, his operational leadership and his ability to drive re­ sults will make him a key asset to our organization. We are very grateful and fortunate to have him join the Food for Life team." With a background in fundraising and leader­ ship, Hill will work toward building lasting relation­ ships with members of the community and dignitar­ ies. His formal education in charitable business ad­ ministration, fundraising and leadership have sup­ ported a successful career that continues to have pos­ itive lasting changes on both private and charita­ ble sectors, and most im­ portantly the people who are impacted by this. "I am very excited to be joining the Food for Life team," said Graham Hill. "I am passionate about mak­ ing a local impact and in­ clined to find innovative ways of bringing together community, to ensure ev­ eryone has access to healthy nutritious food. I was extremely impressed with the impact Food for Life has in the Halton Re­ gion and look forward to making a difference in this community." Hill's passion for the charitable sector coupled with a strong foundation in finance, budgeting, technology, and decision making will play a vital role in Food for Life's abil­ ity to continue fulfilling their mission of sourcing fresh, nutritious food and providing it to those in need.
