The popular shopping promo­ tion which provides valuable prizes to area schools started Sept. 7th and runs to Oct. 31st. To enter the Cash for Class pro­ motion, shoppers can register their school at the Concierge Kiosk located on the lower level of the shopping centre or theycan regis­ ter on-line at www.oakvilleplace.com. In one month, over one-and-a- half million points have been col­ lected and recorded. This is twice the amount of points collected last year during the Cash for Class event in the same time period. The momentum is building. Each school's progress is marked on the Cash for Class blackboard on dis­ play in Centre Court. The top 10 schools will soon be recorded. Schools can be registered at any time throughout the promo­ tion. All entries for the Cash for Class promotion will be placed in a draw and will be eligible to win one of seven gift certificates from East Side Marios, valued at $100 each. Oakville Place launched Cash for Class last year, designed to help schools earn some extra funds to support school projects. Shoppers turn in their receipts at the Concierge Kiosk at Oakville Place and their totals are recorded for the school of their choice. The final totals are divided by the num­ ber of students per school to deter­ mine which schools earned the most points per student.
