In order to thank its cus­ tomers and the community, the Oakville restaurant is announcing a fund-raising program for the Oakville Centre for the Perform­ ing Arts. For the kick-off, one dollar from every wood-fired pizza pur­ chased the week of Sept. 29th to Oct. 6th will be donated to the Oakville Centre. "We chose our pizzas since they are one of our specialties and, therefore, quite popular," explained general manager Gary Chivers. "We hope this will be the first of many activities we can do to help the Oakville Centre continue doing its great work." To celebrate the success of the fund-raising week, customers will be sent invitations for a party on Oct. 6th, starting at 5 p.m., which will also serve as the offi­ cial grand opening of the restau­ rant. Guests will be asked to make a small donation to the Oakville Centre at the door.
