The Ministry of Education‘s working document "The Common Curriculum" defines four core proâ€" gram areas and their interrelated comporients followed by general learning outcomes for each compoâ€" nent. As the focus expands to an examination of other societies, stuâ€" dents learn about the diversity of humankind and come to understand, appreciate, and respect their own and others‘ points of view and ways of living.
