The Spa at Images opened in November 1991 as an additional service to clients, many of whom were already using Images‘ hair salon. It‘s a chic establishment located in a plaza. Secondly, the closest you will come to mineral springs will be a bottle; and the Roman thing, well there are a couâ€" ple of columns in evidence. The face is cleaned, exfoâ€" liated, steamed, and plugged pores extracted. Next, Abdi spreads the contents of an ampule on the face depending on the client‘s skin type and this, in turn, is followed by a facial mask. If the customer has dry skin, prior to the bath, she gets a body peel to remove dead skin cells. After soaking for 20 minutes in the bath, the client gets a relaxing body massage with herbal extracts for another hour. "A herbal extract is different from an essential oil," said Abdi. "An essential oil is much stronger, but a herbal extract can be used on everybody." "We apply to the skin a sediment from the bottom of the sea, diluted in sea water," said Abdi. "It dries up like mud, and we remove it with a loofah." The customer starts her "day" by answering an extensive questionâ€" naire before any treatment begins. This is followed by an aroma therapy bath with essential oils. According to Abdi, essential oils such as eucalyptus, rosemary, and mint oils, do not moisturize the skin, but are therapeutic, promote relaxation, and "can increase circuâ€" lation."
