"He died of no apparent reaâ€" son, and all we were told at the time was that he had choked to death. The cause of her other two sons‘ deaths was determined only through autopsies, ordered after the second son died. She wanted to know why, and still does. A third son, Rob, 27, is a media arts graduate from Sheridan College and "still lives at home," said his mother. An audio visual technician for the Mississauga Public Library, Rob is an avid phoâ€" tographer and gifted guitarist. He graduated from WOSS in 1985. "They were healthy boys . .. ‘ said King, who runs a desktop publishing business from home. Her husband, Martin King, a data processor, has been with Ford for over 30 years. Her two youngest sons both died at age 18, six years apart, of the same thing, idiopathic carâ€" diomyopathy. "I want people to know my story. I want people to be able to put a face to this tragedy," she said. And she‘s hoping the money raised for research will someday provide her with answers, an explanation for the sudden deaths of two sons, Jon and Jeff, due to a mysterious heart condition. Fesruary}| d P / a t Fortunately, "they still had Jon‘s tissue samples for the autopâ€" sy," said King, still devastated and Jon had just graduated from Grade 13 at the time of his death, and Jeff was to return in September to complete his Ontario Academic Credits. "That‘s all we knew for sixâ€" andâ€"aâ€"half years." Jon died on Jan. 1, 1987. Jeff died in his sleep during the early morning of July 8th, last year. Both attended White Oaks Secondary School.
