Slowly but surely, they have been building a community network of volâ€" unteers, people dedicated to watching their idea come to fruition. Meetings have been held, support â€" both finanâ€" cial and moral â€" has been solicited for their Oakville Summer Theatre. Their longterm scheme is grandiose, their short term hopes, more humble. No one remembers betâ€" ter than Rustom, who served on the Oakville Centre board of directors which was dissolved after a budget overrun on professional shows, that disaster results when expectations are too high. "At that time, too much was bitten off. We‘re not trying to sell out," says Rustom, explaining that the steering committee is working with a "much smaller percentage and budget." » Loblaws » Food City * Canadian Tire *Kmart +AP * BiWay «No Frills * 1.G.A. * Longos e The Bay * Partial Delivery 467 SPEERS RD., OAKVILLE _ 845â€"9742 or 845â€"3824 Doorâ€"toâ€"Door Fiyer Distribution Call Saliya Perera The company will be a repertory one and will feature two equity memâ€" bers with the rest of the ensemble "pulled from the community." "We‘re just hoping to try to do a professional show but not necessarily everybody involved will be profesâ€" sional," says Rustom. Aside from a promotional stint planned for the Waterfront Festival, organizers have planned a fundâ€"raisâ€" ing evening Feb. 22nd at Sheridan Hall . Entitled Catch a Rising Star, the event will feature some of the top graduating students. Employee charged with break and enter Police have made an arrest in last week‘s break and enter at Ontario Chromium Plating. Sometime overnight between Feb. 10th and 11th, a safe inside the Speers Road business was robbed of cash. A short time later, after investigating the incident, officers arrested an employee of the company. Mark Pickford, 30, of Mississauga, has been charged with break and enter and theft and will appear in court March 15th.
