"We love our jobs be­ cause of the people that come in to visit us." Matthew Zarrillo of Zarr Tech was named KPMG Entrepreneur of the Year. Organizers said Zarr Tech was born from a true passion for technology and for helping others. They said that while Zarr Tech supports small to medium businesses with their IT needs, Zarrillo is an integral part of the Oak­ ville community support­ ing clubs, events and chari­ ties. "Thank you to the Oak­ ville chamber to my friends and family, to the Rotary Club, to all of you for hav­ ing computers and letting us work with them," said Zarrillo upon receiving his award. "It has been an honour to work and grow up and build my company in Oak­ ville." Paul Ferri of Limitless Training Systems got the Young Professional & En­ trepreneur of the Year Award for combining tech­ nology, nutrition and fit­ ness to make his athlete de­ velopment business shine in the competitive market­ place. Canlan Ice Sports Corp received the Oakville Hy­ dro Conservation Leader­ ship Award for undertak­ ing energy efficiency im­ provements throughout their facility. In 2017 the company re­ placed more than 500 light­ ing fixtures resulting in an annual savings of 290,000 kWh. La Parisienne Creperie received the Morris Mer- canti Restaurateur of the Year Award for the cre­ ation of what organizers call "a little piece of Paris" in Bronte Harbour. Positive Accounting took home the Professional Services Provider of the Year Award for bringing modern technology to the accounting environment.
